C. O. D. E. CREW: Who are they?

Good morning and Happy Day, Heroes! I pray that you are all doing great and that all is well, and those that are feeling down… Well, I pray that this temporary storm is lifted from your life, that your strength is manifested to help yourself up and others. It's not over until you are accomplished. The choice is yours! Don’t get bogged down with things that are beyond our control.

We live in a new era, and cyber crimes are a real thing, even if it's a simulated world. In the digital landscape, there are thieves, a black market, where humans are being trafficked, and then there is the dark web. We are not going to tackle those issues too deeply here, but I will introduce you all to the cyber police known as the agents of the C. O. D. E. (Computer Operations Deciphering Experts) Crew.

The C. O. D. E. Crew are an elite group of hackers that have been hand picked by the government to stop any illegal cyber activity, examples of the following: espionage, sabotage, digital hijacking, and identity theft. This faction of the government is utilized to monitor the denizens of Arkadium for national security. However, there are citizens that want to revolt and rebel against this faction because the citizens feel that they are being watched too closely, and they want answers as to who watches them? Then again, a lot is not known about these digitized ghosts that monitor the web constantly. At one moment they can be searching through consumer reports to then sliding through into a person's incognito searches to see what is actually being observed or searched.

Anytime a person uses an I.P. or a C.P.U. component. The C.O.D.E. Crew is able to record, document, lock a person’s account, shutdown devices, block other devices from hacking them, and view any of the sensitive data or streams from a person’s account. These agents are highly trained, and they are the best of the best when it comes to cyber defense. Their equipment is very sensitive as it is sophisticated. They use artificial intelligence within their algorithms to encrypt codes and walls within their fiber optic enhanced mainframes.

Thomas Burton is a brilliant savant that created a database that holds the information for all of the criminals within the city of Arkadium. His program has the ability for facial recognition, and he is able to utilize his program to pinpoint individual suspects from a crowd. Tom Burton was recruited at a young age to become an agent, and we will be following his exploits to see where this leads him. He is also Carl Burton’s (AKA Zig-Zag) younger brother, so he will be playing an important part with the stories throughout the Guardians of Arkadium.
