Vanadium Comics Presents: Never Give Up Your Dreams
Hello, happy day, and welcome back to another wonderful snippet into the Arkadi-Verse, Heroes! I pray that your day has been absolutely astonishing as it is productive!
No matter what it is, or what you feel is holding you back, please know that you are enough. You are amazing, and whatever gift you have been blessed with, please, share it with the world!
This has truly been another amazing day, and I am so grateful for those put on my path. I spent an amazing weekend at Wondercon. So many friends seen and met. Going to conventions, talking online with colleagues, and talent, I realize that we are all interconnected within the fabric of literature and art. I see so much beauty in the novel idea of creation, especially, from the foundation of writing, and then designing the concepts of our ideas. I am very passionate about the process.
I plan to stay in, all in because my heart as well as my passion is in creating characters. Moreover, breathing life into them with the art of storytelling. I can’t see myself giving up my childhood dream of being a cartoonist. Even though…
Times have really been tough all over from comics, comedy, cartooning, and film. Too many are focused on checking boxes for appeasement, pandering, are bullying creators to the point of self execution, canceling those without merit, evidence, smearing and slandering colleagues, creating unnecessary drama, and politics...
I read and have read comics to escape from the stresses and suffering of the world. I create comics to entertain my audience as well as audiences around the globe, to inspire others to do good with the stories being conveyed in the works, and I want to give back to all of my influences by creating a vehicle through cartooning to eantertain the next generation. This message is for fellow colleagues and future cartoonists, don't give up your dreams, nor your passions to tell a great story; your story. You are limited by the anchors you have placed on yourself that hold you back, don't fall into the traps of drama, and don't let the media stifle your dreams. Share your work, improve on your work, listen to constructive criticism, grow some thick skin, learn the craft, learn the techniques, push that envelope, and push the pencil mileage. You are a creative, create, share, rinse, and repeat. You will see the light, and endure the fruits of your labor.
So, stay tuned. Vanadium Comics brings you a universe with stories that are Stronger Than Steel! Until next time. Comment and keep in touch, we want to hear from you because you are the reason why we create what we create. Wishing you all the best. Thank you so much!
Remember to keep those eyes peeled. Keep spreading the word, and let's save the day!
