Empusas: The evil that lurks in the streets of Arkadium

Ooooh, what a week it has been, Heroes! By the way, welcome back, and thank you for keeping Vanadium Comics alive and kicking! There is artwork being worked on as we speak, and I am excited to make this announcement. I invite each and everyone of you to bear witness to another group of villains within the Arkadi-Verse. Let me introduce you all to the Empusas.

The Empusas are a horrific group of ghouls that roam the streets of Arkadium, and all throughout Murdock County. The Empusas are nosferatu vampires that are not your typical seductive and lovable vampires that are portrayed on the silver screen, but they are malformed abhorrent vampires with the powers to feed on one’s emotions as well as their crimson lifeforce. Their teeth may resemble crooked and jagged tusks or crooked fangs. Their skin, weathered, pale, or sometimes minty green. They have claws, some will prey on the vermin in the streets, but human flesh and blood is a gourmet delicacy. The Empusas are broken up in familial clans, and have also a pull within the world of politics, but organized crime brings forth more fodder for their feeding frenzy.

Within Arkadium, there has been a huge influx of disappearances, and you wouldn’t be wrong to guess that the Empusas are involved. One will also wonder how these fiends got here? Why are they here, and what is their true motivation other than feeding? The Empusas do not believe in turning humans into vampires unless approved by the ancient ones. Like I mentioned earlier, they will feed on psychic and emotional energy too. If you notice yourself getting weaking, or tired, well, they are close by., They have terrorized the world for centuries, but what does that mean for Arkadium? The Guardians of Arkadium will step up their game to ensure the safety of its citizens, but at what cost? That will be left to you to find out within the upcoming books and comics. These Stories are Stronger Than Steel!
