Flash Foxxy: Arkadium's Incredible Speedster!

Good evening, Heroes! I trust you are all well, and I pray that you have been productive as well as creative. Here at Vanadium Comics, I have been striving to expand the Arkadi-Verse with more characters. In the last newsletter, I introduced the Momentum Thief. A very grounded villain that with affect the entire Murdock County. When it comes to the Momentum Thief, I believe that motion has stopped.

Today, I am very proud to introduce you all to Flash Foxxy, Arkadium’s very own incredible speedster. Also known as Latrice Smith in the greater city of Arkadium. Latrice was living in the slums of Arkadium, just trying to make ends meet. She worked as a barmaid and an exotic dancer on the side, but she hated the guoqing and the exploitation of her body for profit. Especially since a lot of her coworkers moonlight as escorts. In the city of Arkadium, this is a dangerous liaison that affects the community as the crime rate rises.

However, one day she pulled an ad from the local paper, and with a red ballpoint pen she circled a small rectangular box with information that would change her life forever. Ms. Smith was excited by a possibility that would allow to feed herself, pay the back rent that was owed, and possibly pay for her transportation. What was in that ad that made her circle it in such fervor? Latrice spotted a paid clinical trial for a new chemical pharmaceutical that can kill particular viruses, she felt that she had nothing left to lose, and we will see what it was that had transpired for her to make these life changing decisions. Why would society allow her to be so impoverished, or was it a poor decision that enabled this hand to be dealt? Why is it that as a society we step over those in need? The attitude of, “...it’s not my problem.” Seems to resonate with those that are well off or entitled, however, we shall see that what was circled will lead to a series of events that will unfold. Will she carry that same attitude when the citizens are in danger? How will she benefit from this treatment, or better yet, what will this experiment do to her physiology? These questions will be answered in the upcoming titles from Vanadium Comics, but in the meantime… Keep our peepers peeled!
