The Genesis of Vanadium Comics

Welcome back, Heroes! I pray that your day has been absolutely fantastic! I want to begin by inviting you all to the origins of Vanadium Comics and how I, Mr. V. Your loveable host came up with the concept of our amazing company.

Vanadium Comics is a comic book company that was established in the year of our Lord of 1996, when Jorge Valdes wanted to split from working from his current comic book endeavors as a penciller and colorist from Leaf Studios. I was about 19 years old at the time. I began sketching concepts of characters and creating character sheets to log each of their powersets and expositions. I was a huge fan of the Superhero cards, so that influenced me to create stats in my early art and writing phase.

So, I began by creating Zig-Zag (AKA: Carl Burton), a military veteran who lost his father due to a terrorist attack which leveled a building in Arkadium. The loss fueled his rage towards terrorism, and he joined the military. After his boot camp graduation, for his first mission, he drove a military vehicle which exploded after driving over an IED. This tragedy set forth a chain of events which led to the creation of the Arkadi-Verse. I would love to share more with all of you amazing Heroes, but then, I would be giving away the story before it launches. Keep your eyes peeled!
