Guardians of Arkadium: Introduction

Welcome back to another wonderful snippet into the Arkadi-Verse,  Heroes! I pray that your day has been absolutely astonishing as it is productive!

I truly pray that you are all doing great and that all is well, and those that are feeling down… Well, I pray that this temporary storm is lifted from your life, that your strength is manifested to help yourself up and others.

It's not over until you are accomplished. The choice is yours! Don’t get bogged down with things that are beyond our control. 

Good morning and good afternoon to some of those in a different area code. Today, I invite you all to meet the Guardians of Arkadium, or rather the book title, since I traverse in depth with each character. I have already introduced you all to Zig-Zag, and since the events after the alien invasion, our story will take place. The book will be part Vanadium Comics Presents wile the other will be a juxtaposition of stories and crossover gap fillers to tighten up stories and functional basis of story expansions. This title will focus on the introduction to the champions of the vast city of Arkadium. There will be stories of expositions, but there will also be a focus as to how these guardians interact with each other, as members of the community, as a team, and as the defenders of the city. The books will also touch on the collateral damage and the damage control of the city and population. It’s so easy to show a battle, to have the heroes fight their designated antagonists, but at what cost? How does a city survive or thrive after so much has been destroyed? This is a construction worker’s dream, since there is always work to be had. Just imagine.

There will be stories of relational developments, how life works in the city, how the homelessness within the alleys rise and bear witness to the happenings of the city, and how a glimmer of hope can enrich the populace into the radiance of light through the darkness. Arkadium is alive and well, and she can be a fickle beast when she warrants it. The question of the matter is, how? Who are these Guardians? Why this city? What and who are the city’s threats? Why does this matter? 

How can we solve these issues? Here we have a group of heroes; Zig-Zag, Kalina, Short Stuff, Crunch, Billy “P-Dawg,” and Volador are the Guardians of Arkadium. Within the upcoming newsletters, you will have the opportunity to meet each character. They are a very interesting group, since at one time, they were too busy focusing on a neighborhood, but now they watch the entire city as concerned citizens of the Arkadi-Verse.

The Minos Family, The Empusas, Dr. Augustus Crane, the Zurack Xenoshi, Updraft, Murmur, Feverpitch, On Pointe, Over Knight, Terrible Bender, The Fear Squad, Devil Clown, and Necro Nancy are a few that want to see the city of Arkadium burn as well as the world, and it is up to the Guardians of Arkadium to stop them from seeing their plans to fruition. This title will also focus on the powerset, development, and exposition of Carl Burton (AKA: Zig-Zag). We will see how he will develop into a superhero, but we will get a glimpse as to how the others will become heroes too. In the meantime, We here at Vanadium Comics wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving, and may you be full of joy, and abundance.
