The Media within the great city of Arkadium

Good morning and Happy Day, Heroes! I pray that you are all doing well, and those that are feeling down… Well, I pray that this storm is lifted from your life, that your strength is manifested to help yourself up and others. It's not over until you are accomplished. The choice is yours!

Let’s talk about the media! Yup, that’s right, I have a bone to pick about the media, the news stations, the paper, and those on the radio or podcasts. I am talking about the media within Arkadium. This world building is not a 2D world, but one with history, one with events, and those that claim to be the griots or historians of this city.

WRKD is the local television station and home for RKD News, “where the facts are provided, and nothing but!” KRKD is the local radio station, and the news stories are delivered by the intense and enigmatic host, Barry Stoic. “Serious talk for serious times!” Barry Stoic is that personality that wants to hit the sensitive topics and subjects within the city of Arkadium, he is the sage of this new age. However, Barry can be very crass and rude depending on how his callers respond to him when he answers. He may at times ask thought provoking jabs to rile up his audience or guests, but hey, that’s showbusiness. Barry will be a fun voice and character to explore within the Arkadi-Verse.

Now, let me introduce you all to Tina Haywood, she is a very attractive young investigative reporter. Tina also has her own podcast, she likes to record her exploits as an investigative reporter. SHe wants her adoring audience to follow in her adventures as she documents them. Her life is on public display for about three-fourths of the day. She has basic combat and martial arts skills, so she can put up a fight, she is very tenacious, fearless, and very determined to get her story. Tina Haywood, armed with her brains, determination, a Go-Pro, a hand-held recorder, and a cellphone; she captures the stories of the citizens with her wit and charm.
