The Powerset: Prometheus's Spark

Good afternoon, Heroes! I pray that all is well, and that you are being creative as well as productive. This has been an amazing journey so far, and I couldn’t be more proud to invite you all into the creation of my universe; The Arkadi-Verse. Just remember that today is a new day, and it is up to you as to how you seize and perceive it! We shall overcome.

Today, we shall discuss the powers, and what are they called within the Arkadi-Verse. The Prometheus’ Spark, is the name given to the heroes’ super power(s). It’s also known as the P-Spark, this was named after the events that had transpired to those individuals that were gifted with powers from the Araknipods’ Invasion. Just like the titan, Prometheus bring fire to man (human beings).

Yes, the events will be shared in a future post, however, we are focusing on the actual names of the powers that were bestowed to the individuals affected, and some look at the powerset as an affliction. This is when the values and morals are in question as well as what will boost the morale to push forward with these gifts. I can definitely see and hear you heroes, especially, asking, “what would having a powerset be an affliction?” Well, some of those powers reacted to the DNA of the individuals as their genes have been mutated, their features and physiology may have been changed, and let's also add their mental health, their psychology. People are cruel, the events may have disfigured some, have deranged others, and some can be dealing with both afflictions. This is not your typical story of getting radiation or a mutation, and life is then a dream… We will explore the outcomes of these gifts, the P-Spark.

We will also take a look at mutation. Mutation within the realm of those genetically modified through birth is known as the Vulcan’s Flame. The reason for this is that those born with certain powers would need to be crafted, honed, and taught to be controlled, in order for them to be evolved and/or perfected before use. Our heroes that have been born with such gifts, those specific powers that are then malleable through time, practice, and experience. These characters will be shaped by their flaws, deficits, motivations, actions, and their personalities while dealing with their lessons on manifesting and controlling their powers. Some of our heroes will be shaped by their tenacity, their emotions, and/ or will be molded by their trauma or their past. In this space, our heroes will have to live in the environment of their reality. Their growth will be defined within the pages that you will hold, flipping from scene-to-scene as they evolve through their experience, and you will be invited to traverse through Arkadium alongside your hero., and/or heroes. This is just an introduction, the full story is vast, and I cannot wait for you to witness what is to unfold.
