Story Elements for Marluk: The Street Avenger

Vanadium Comics Presents: Part 3.25

Hello, happy day, and welcome back to another wonderful snippet into the Arkadi-Verse,  Heroes! I pray that your day has been absolutely astonishing as it is productive!

No matter what it is, or what you feel is holding you back, please know that you are enough. You are amazing, and whatever gift you have been blessed with, please, share it with the world!

What an amazing and beautiful day it is, today! When I last wrote, I shared that Marluk’s motivation, besides his tragic loss, was the superhero, the Devil-Bat of New Jersey. You see not having a father or a mother is really hard growing up, now he does have a father figure, but it is not always the same for some individuals. He knew his parents before they were tragically killed.  Leroy loves him like his very own, and he is cleaning up his act, since he had took him under his wing. Leroy dropped the bottle, left the street drugs in the trash where they belong, he needed to be the man young Marluk needed him to be. Leroy struggles with the trauma of war as a veteran, but he works to seek help where he can while raising a young man on the streets.

This will develop into an ongoing series of story progressions, emotions, actions, and inner struggles as a man is called to action. He has to put Marluk first, they will need to progress as they survive on the streets. How will they train? How will Marluk learn? How does one go to school while living on the streets? How can they benefit through resources? Will they have a social worker? Can they pan-handle enough to find a room or get something to eat? These are real life questions that individuals go through on a daily basis. If you have nopt faced these issues or problems, then count your blessings because those that do; face an uphill struggle daily.

Now, Marluk is not always a tear-jerking Debbie Downer, but a reflection of life through the vehicle of sequential art. Comic books are an amazing medium, and when the arc is complete, the collected works of a graphic novel become epic. This is a beautiful thing, and I can’t express how grateful I am for you all continuing to support the newsletter, sharing the story elements with your friends, and I pray you continue to stick with Vanadium Comics. I am working hard on the script to deliver quality products, I have met some amazing talents, and please keep us in your prayers to be able to collaborate with such talents.

There are so many characters to delve into, however, I am delivering them here with a background in bite-sized chunks. These heroes are for everyone, and I am not here to exclude or alienate the audience, so with that being said, I want to bring back the wholesome family entertainment that is lacking today. There are so many books to choose from, but our mission is to make a product that is safe for families to consume.
