Street Level: El Zorro Dorado (The Golden Fox)

Good morning, Heroes! I pray that all is well, and that you are being creative as well as productive.Welcome all to: The Arkadi-Verse. Just remember to let things go, no grudges, no regrets, and most of all; remember that today is a new day, and it is up to you as to how you seize and perceive it! We shall overcome because we are victorious!

I would like to introduce and share another hero that roams and patrols the streets of Arkadium. That hero is El Zorro Dorado (The Golden Fox), he leads a life with a dual identity. El Zorro Dorado is also known as Achilles De Luna. After being fired from a construction job, Achilles grabs his tools, and sets off for home. He is consumed by thoughts as to how he will pay his bills, pay his rent, and survive. Sure, he was one who would stack his money in his savings account, but that money does not last forever. He is just a regular guy, making ends meet, and he also loves helping his fellow man.

He is a devout Catholic, and as he is walking on the busy streets of Arkadium, he begins to pray. Achilles begins the prayer, asking for forgiveness; he feels that he was being punished for a past sin, but he continues to pray, and asks Jesus for a change in his life. He really wants to change his ways, he wants to serve, and he is hungry for solutions to his problems. He just wants a change of lifestyle, work, and circumstance. On this day, his prayers were answered, but not in the conventional way. The change came via the events that will occur during the Invasion of the Araknipods, an event that will change his life forever. The events in Arkadium would rewrite Achilles’s physiology, and would grant him his P-Spark. El Zorro Dorado was gifted with superhuman strength, increased agility, metal manipulation, and biological metal.

So, let’s talk about some of these powers. Biological metal, the flesh becomes living, breathing, metal, due to his melanin, the metal becomes gold. Even though the metal is gold, it is not soft in the least. His skin is almost indestructible and impervious to bullets. The biological metal and/ or bio-metal is stronger than titanium, and covers most of his arms and legs. Achilles is still learning how to use his powers. He is also gifted with metal manipulation, he is able to manipulate the bio-metal of his finger tips, and shape them into claws, so that he may climb, scale buildings as well as use them in defense. With these claws, he is able to cut through most things, however, they are not completely indestructible.

Achilles has a lot to offer Arkadium and all throughout Murdock County. He is an interesting character that we will delve deeper as he is explored in the titles of Märlük the Street Avenger, Street Level, and Guardians of Arkadium . More will be explored.
