Enter Arkadium’s Unlikely Guardians

As the city grapples with this unprecedented chaos, Arkadium’s shadows have given rise to a trio of vigilantes who are quickly becoming infamous for their own brand of justice. Robert Benson, better known as The Retri-Butcher, has been making waves—quite literally stomping on the neck of injustice. His ruthless methods are as brutal as they are effective, targeting key figures within the Sons of Crete and dismantling their operations.

Joining him are the enigmatic Silent Adder and the relentless Märlük. While their methods differ, their goals align: protecting the city and aiding the overwhelmed police department.

Witnesses describe Silent Adder as a shadow moving through the night, silent and efficient, leaving behind only incapacitated criminals and a chilling sense of fear. Märlük, on the other hand, brings a primal ferocity to his efforts, often taking on groups of gang members with his bare hands.

Their presence has been polarizing. Some hail them as heroes filling the void left by an overstretched police force, while others, including Commissioner Rowland, warn against the dangers of vigilante justice. “Their actions, though well-intentioned, undermine the rule of law,” Rowland stated. “We cannot condone their methods.”
