Work In Progress/ Marluk: The Street Avenger

Vanadium Comics Presents: Part 1.75

Hello, happy day, and welcome back to another wonderful snippet into the Arkadi-Verse,  Heroes! I pray that your day has been absolutely astonishing as it is productive!

No matter what it is, or what you feel is holding you back, please know that you are enough. You are amazing, and whatever gift you have been blessed with, please, share it with the world!

Good afternoon, Arkadium! Tina Hayward, live on the scene where Commissioner Rowland will be appearing to give us a testimony here on the streets of Arkadium. We are trying to gauge a pulse as to what has been going on here in the community. The citizens are afraid to go out, and folks have been barring their windows, walking in groups, and a curfew has been put into effect, due to the crime wave. What has become of our city, why are we living in fear, and who is this Street Avenger? Citizens, please leave the crime busting to the professionals, do not risk your lives taking matters into your own hands. Just in, Commissioner Rowland is about to speak. Let’s listen in, and hear what he has to say. We will follow up shortly, stay tuned, and be alert!

Exclusive Interview with Commissioner Rowland

Commissioner David Rowland shares his thoughts on the escalating crisis: “The situation is unprecedented. We are facing a multifaceted threat with Il Toro Nero’s organization, a vigilante taking justice into his own hands, serial murders ravaging the streets, the citizens not feeling safe, and now a possible supernatural element. We urge the public to remain vigilant, honor the curfew, and report any suspicious activity. Our top priority is restoring order and safety back to our community.”

  • Kenny Powers - “We now return to Tina Hayward, live on the scene.”

  • Tina Hayward- “ Thank you for that intro there, Kenny. Well, we see that Commissioner Rowland kept it short and sweet, but what does this mean for our community? There are so many questions that haven’t been addressed, but we are grateful to know that the police are keeping all of us as their number one priority. I will be talking to the citizens of Arkadium to get their perspective on the happenings here in Arkadium. I am going to start with Sanya, one of our local bakers here in our city.

A Word from the Community: Citizens Speak Out

Sanya Martinez, a local baker, and shop owner, voices the community's mixed feelings: “It’s terrifying to live here now, but I have to admit, seeing Marluk in action gives us hope. And as for The Crime Basher… if he’s taking out the bad guys, maybe he’s not all bad? It’s confusing, but we’re just trying to survive, here in Arkadium.Ever since, they came on the scene, we are feeling a bit safer to leave our homes, and live our lives again. We can’t live in terror, and the cops can only do so much”

  • Tina Hayward - “Thank you so much, Sanya. She really speaks for the community, and this Crime Basher is an extreme vigilante, but it would seem that he is one of the good guys. What courage, and words that inspire hope in these dire times from Sanya. You all should come and support Sanya’s bakery if you are in town, she makes the greatest muffins. This is Tina Hayward, signing off, back to you, Kenny.”

I pray you are all safe, and have a safe and Happy 4th of July! To all of our military veterans, thank you for all of your brave and courageous service, and for our freedom.
