Work in Progress; Märlük: The Street Avenger

Hello, happy day, and welcome back to another wonderful snippet into the Arkadi-Verse, Heroes! I pray that your day has been absolutely astonishing as it is productive!

No matter what it is, or what you feel is holding you back, please know that you are enough. You are amazing, and whatever gift you have been blessed with, please, share it with the world!

I am in awe of you, Heroes! I am at a loss for words, for how I am grateful for you to share this journey with me. I was at a local Whittier Comic Fest, and reunited with my dear friends, Rafael Navaro, Javier Hernandez, Jamie Sullivan, and Don Walker, re-igniting my creative flame. Not that I have lost it, but they have reignited the passion, and joy of the creative process. We had such a great time discussing projects, and the creative process of storytelling. I was blown away by all of the lovely advice, tips, and strategies to elevate our creations. I am so grateful to be blessed with these gifts, surrounded by great friends, and I want to spread that joy through sequential art.

Good news, thumbnails are being worked on for the finished pages that have been written. So excited to finally begin this process as the story progresses. Last week, we discussed the core story for Märlük: The Street Avenger. I also would like to add that within the streets of Arkadium, The Minos Family is also creating chaos as they are at war with a local street gang called the Sons of Crete as they are trying to establish their reign over the underworld of organized crime.

This war along with the abductions are creating a city wide upheaval as our hero must delegate between the priority of the moment. He cannot do it all, and this dilemma has created a shift between our hero’s thought process, and it’s only going to get worse as the story progresses because of all that is happening in Arkadium. What is Märlük to do? Who will assist him along the way? Why is there so much chaos? Who is behind all of the abductions? All these questions will be answered…
